CTC & FARMING ENGAGEMENT, BRECON BEACONS NATIONAL PARK FARM DIVERSIFICATION SPG – October 2019

Planning Aid Wales facilitated a workshop for Brecon Beacons National Park Authority (BBNPA) to consider farming and farm diversification issues within the National Park. In particular, the workshop identified issues in relation to a review of the BBNPA Farm Diversification Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPG).

Analysis and understanding of current farming and farm diversification issues, reviewed key documents such as current LDP, Replacement LDP Preferred Strategy and Farm Diversification SPG. In addition, discussions with Planning Officers and we attended the workshop event as facilitators for discussion and to encourage understanding of the current planning policies, working together with BBNPA Officers. The broad purpose of the event was to identify current farming issues to input into consideration of a revised Farm Diversification SPG.
